I always wanted a guitar where I could play both “acoustic” sounds and “electric” sounds on the same axe, so I copied the body shape of my Gibson B25 out of a wonderful slab of

Northern Michigan White Ash. For a more “acoustic” feel, I used a 24.75” scale neck for that Gibson feel, and for a more acoustic sound, placed a piezo under the Tune-o-matic style bridge. Individual tone controls with blend knob for ultimate control between the piezo and a classic PAF-style humbucker stuck right in the sound hole. I find I play it mostly about 30% piezo, which adds a nice bit or chime for rhythm parts.
