Little Woody Centuryite
$799
Start with a slab of 100-year old cherry tree, downed during the Big Blow storm in 2015. This tree was likely planted by Mrs. John Fisher, who did so because her husband was logging the entire area. It grew next to the Crystal River at a friend’s home. It’s a 25.5” scale neck, a single humbucker pickup, and a Fender-style strings-thru-body bridge. Control plate and neck inlays made of Centuryite - paint and production scraps from the Century Boat factory formerly from Manistee, MI. From an era where they transitioned from wooden boats to fiberglass, and thus, blew all these layers of paint, much like Ford Motor Company and “Fordite”. Look closely - even the neck dots are Centuryite!
