So I’ve sold all the other lap steels I’ve made, probably because they were a bit fancier than old reliable here. Just a slab of Ash, homemade fretboard, a Humbucker, Volume, and Tone controls - super simple. This thing grabs the David Lindley sound on those Jackson Browne records in a heartbeat, stays in tune, and is a blast to play. If you don’t have one, how will you ever know you needed one?
